Introduction

Welcome to my HomeLab.  A collection of 4 years worth of hard work, sweat, tears, and blood sacrifices (mostly to the server rack).  This is my tech child and I work very hard to make this as good as it can be.  A lot of my inspiration came from Serve the Home and other creators, as well as my background in Cyber Security and not liking what companies do to my data.  I have moved away from Google completely and have officially been google free for over a year now.  This homelab is a passion project and will forever be changing and going along with the times.

How I Started my Homelab

I started my HomeLab intially with a laptop in my room at my parents house.  I was facinated with linux and how to use it.  I was in high school and didn’t know what I was doing.  I bricked and kernal panicked that laptop so many f-ing times I thought about stopping, but I didn’t.  I read articles and watched youtube videos just to gather information on how to do what I wanted.  Finally after tinkering around with that old laptop.  I got some computers from my work that were going in the E-Waste bin and spun up a Plex server as my first project.  I only had 3 movies but I was proud.  Fast foward hundreds of dollars and 4 years later, I have a library of 22TB, TVshows, Movies, and Music.  18 year old me would be proud of this.

Eventually I bought some brand new systems and moved to learning Proxmox and Docker, which evolved into selfhosting literally anything that I could.  I am proud to say that most of the services I use on a daily basis in my personal life are selfhosted by myself.  It doesn’t take much to start a homelab, and it can spin out of control but it is fun.

Projects

I have lots of projects going on at a time, and you can read more in the blog page.  I post updates whenever I release something new and keep everyone updated on progress.  This site is a refresh of what I had before because, of course, I nuked my webhost, so here we are with a fully rebuilt site.  This is pretty common for me, if you see major changes in the website suddenly, It’s because I nuked it.

Access to Services

I have some services I allow access to the public.  Some are on a strict invite only basis so no promises I will let you in, but visit my access site to request access to services, you can click the button below to get to it.
